Kimberleigh Roseblade is an Italian longsword instructor and coach who specializes in the fitness needs of HEMA practitioners.  She has taught classes and workshops at various HEMA events and symposiums across North America and won a bronze medal in Women's Longsword fighting in her first tournament at the PNW HEMA Gathering: Swordsquatch 2016.  As of January 2016 Kimberleigh began the process of becoming nationally certified as a personal trainer through the YMCA of Canada.

 

Kimberleigh Roseblade discovered HEMA in the Spring of 2010 when she walked into the doors of Vancouver's Academie Duello. She became both an adult and youth instructor and coached a program known as SwordFit for years.  In the Autumn of 2015 Kimberleigh moved away from Vancouver, BC to Muskoka, Ontario where she started a longsword class once a week following the Italian martial traditions of Fiore dei Liberi. In October 2016 she moved to Toronto, Ontario where she is currently a member of the Academy of European Medieval Martial Artists and teaches a HEMA fitness class through the space they share as part of the Fighting Arts Collective of Toronto.
